As part of this research, they facilitated a series of workshops with those directly involved in preparing and implementing planning policy and decision-making processes across various scales.
The purpose of these workshops was to gather input from experts in the field to help shape an evidence base and a series of recommendations that will be shared with the London Plan Team, The London Sustainable Development Commission and the GLA more widely.
We Made That were particularly interested in hearing ideas on the following topics:
How do you interpret social value in your own work and where is it being used?
What is working? What is not working?
What tools will ensure that social value is embedded in the London Plan/planning documents and in decision making processes more widely?
What will help generate the greatest positive impact?
This research is a co-designed engagement for the Planning for London Programme.
