We will be showcasing some of the exciting careers available in this industry!

As a town planner you can work in the private sector (as a planning agent or for a developer for instance) or you work in the public sector (deciding on planning applications for development or creating planning policy to shape that development). We will return to this profession more over coming weeks to give you more information on what salaries you can expect and some more experiences of planners working in the industry.

Hear from Jules Pipe CBE, Deputy Mayor for Planning, Regeneration and Skills. This short video is from an event in September where Jules was invited to speak to students like you about his role and how we should be thinking about cities now and for their future challenges.
